The BioSpectrum Imaging System provides extremely fast and sensitive detection of proteins by Western blot. The BioSpectrum uses a deeply cooled, highly resolution CCD camera and optics to achieve the high sensitivity detection. The system combined with antibodies and substrates such as Rockland Immunochemicals's antibodies and FemtoMax HRP substrate allows detection of femtogram amounts of target proteins with excellent sensitivity and specificity. The VisionWorks software enables users to perform area density analysis and calculate the signal level of each sample.

In addition to Western Blot imaging, the BioSpectrum is designed as a multi-functional system for multiple applications including Northern and Southern Blots, fluorescent and colorimetric imaging.
